How to care for your clothes We would recommend a cold wash at 30 degrees or lower with liquid laundry detergent on a gentle cycle or handwash. Wash clothing inside out. The maximum allowable spin speed is 600 rpm. Iron inside out at 110 degrees or lower.
Chlorine bleaching, tumble-drying and dry cleaning can damage the garment!- Never leave brightly coloured garments, embroidered garments, garments with appliques, etc. soaking. Wash them separately from white clothes using special detergents for coloured clothes. Wash inside out.
- Wash dark clothes with liquid detergent for dark clothes which do not contain bleach.
- The first time you wash a new brightly coloured piece of clothing, remember to wash it separately to avoid any potential colour bleeding.
- Check pockets before washing clothes.
- Temperature, washing machine settings and dryer cycles depend on the type of the fabric your garment is made from. Clothes made from natural fabrics (wool, silk, linen) will shrink in hot water and lose their shape in the machine dryer. Wash artificial and synthetic fabrics at a low temperature as they can be affected if washed using hot water. Moreover, a lot of powder detergents include additives which are not effective in hot water.
- Liquid laundry detergents are better than powder or solid detergents. Using too much laundry detergent is bad for your clothes because too much detergent will not be fully rinsed out and will leave stains on your clothes.
- Stretch the knitted garment into shape immediately after washing while it is still slightly dump. Then lay clothes on a drying rack.
- Make sure to avoid air drying your clothes in direct sunlight. After washing lay heavy clothes flat on a drying rack while it is still dump to prevent it from stretching.
- Iron embroidered garments inside out laying it on an ironing board to avoid shiny iron stripes and spots.
- Clothes with pullers, metal buckles, rings and letters should be washed inside out.
- Knee pads should be dry cleaned.
